Our experience has been excellent every time. The staff gets to know your dog by name and is very welcoming to both dogs and people. Everything is computerized, so there is never a mix up with dogs, schedules, etc. Our dog was checked in and taken into the large open area to play with other dogs. For overnight stays, we bring her bedding and food and the staff takes care of everything.
During our first visit there over a year ago, we had to bring her for a temperment test, to see if she gets along with other dogs. We aso had to submit proper veterinary paperwork with vaccinations.During one of our daycare visits, the staff noticed that our dog had some blood in her stool, called us immediately to come and pick her up so as not to sicken any other pets and get her treated right away.
Our dog loves going there both for daycare and overnight stays. We feel the price is good for the care we receive, and never have to feel guilty when we can't take her with us. She loves Alpha Dog.

I have been a faithful and satisfied customer of Alpha Dog Center for over 2 years!!!! The ENTIRE staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Not only has Kya, my pitbull, attended daycare twice a week for the last 2 years but she has also graduated from 4 of their training classes and is going on to be CGC Certified. I have never been told of any altercations at the center on Kya's daycare days so they must be doing something right with the temp test screening!!!! I appreciate that the owner DOES have all the answers b/c it is comforting to know that there is always someone ready and willing to help me with any questions or concerns I have about Kya. Kendra has always been just an email away!!! Thank you Alpha Dog Center Staff for all you have done for us and continue to do! Kya, Joe and I love you all!!!!

 We have been using daycare 4-5 times a week for our Bichon Brady for about a month. Kendra the owner and her staff are wonderful knowledgeable animal lovers. They all answer any and all questions and helped us work through Brady thinking he is the alpha dog. They took the time to educate us and work with Brady while in their care so he is now a more well adjusted puppy. Brady loves going to daycare and comes home exhausted but most of all happy. We recently used their grooming service and Karen did a wonderful job. Brady was clean, cut to our exact specifications and well cared for with her. I would recommend that anyone looking for daycare, grooming or training that they come to Alpha Dog. It s simply an amazing place.

Kendra is the best dog trainer I have met. Soon after adopting our dog from a local shelter, we discovered he did not get along well with other dogs. We were afraid we were going to have to give him up. Walking him anywhere in the vacinity of other dogs was extremely stressful for us and our dog. We signed up for a beginner obedience class with Kendra. She tought us techniques to take our dogs attention away from the distraction of other dogs, and redirected his atttention to us. Within a week I was succesfully walking our dog past neighborhood dogs without incident. She also taught us many useful tricks, like the leave it technique. Whatever our dog does after a simple leave it command prompts him to drop the object of his attention and focus on us. Kendra has so much compassion for the dogs the humans she trains. She deserves 10 stars!

My disclaimer: my review is unbiased, I have no affiliation with Alpha Dog aside from now being a patron - and I wouldn't be spending the time to write this review if I didn't feel strongly about Alpha Dog. After much research we decided to give Alpha Dog a chance, despite reading the review from the owner of "Cutter." Our pup has just finished the basic obedience class, has a blast at daycare, and most recently, has benefited from their grooming services. Obedience class is like most other things in life- what you get out of it is a product of what you put into it. Our trainer was positive, knowledgeable, and effective but you can't expect to take your dog to training for one hour a week and have a perfect dog if you don't reinforce what you've learned in class. We had fun in class, our pup had fun, and most importantly, she learned all of her basic commands - and we can't wait for the intermediate session to begin. With regard to daycare, she can't get out of the car and into the facility fast enough, and she comes home content and tuckered out, giving us a peaceful home. Our pup puts on quite a show at bath time, so we recently opted for grooming at daycare and she came home unaffected- aside from looking and smelling great. I will admit that this review is somewhat self-serving - I've quickly come to depend on Alpha Dog as have members of my family, and we want Alpha Dog to stick around. I hope you will give them a chance too.

I like a typical mom, hesitated taking her. She doesn't like water, nevermind the hose. She was a bit freightened about the experience, but we go thru it. Although she squirmed we did get her all lathered up & got her nails trimed. One thing to remember when I head back there.....bring lots of treats. The service was great, patient & the loving to my dog. Can't wait to take her back in December, & soon she'll be wanting to go back over & over again.

The owner and staff all love dogs and it shows. Whether your dog goes one day a week or 5 days a week, they will have a blast and learn new "social" skills. When you pick your dog(s) up, they will be tired and very happy. Give Alpha Dog a try, they have a great set up with both inside and outside areas. You and your dog will love it.
