Requirements 4 Months or older Up to date on all vaccines (DHLPP, Bordetella, Rabies) Proof of recent negative stool sample Dogs must be spayed or neutered by 6 months No Aggression Temperament Tests are required to participate in daycare: Temperament tests are scheduled during the morning on days the owners are available. Drop off on your first day must be before 8am so that your dog is one of the first dogs to arrive and meets everyone one-on-one. We require you to go to your online profile to sign our agreements before the temperament test. Please plan to spend 10-15 minutes chatting with staff, going over your application and what to expect for the day. We require a minimum of 5 hours to allow your dog to adjust to daycare, but prefer they stay until 1pm so they stay a full five hours. They are welcome to stay all day if they are enjoying their stay. If their stay is not enjoyable, we will call you to pick up your dog early, so we will only schedule a test if you are available all day. We have three levels for our temperament test evaluations: PASS: No major issues. Should settle into our daycare routine after a few visits. NEEDS WORK: Some issues such as shyness, nervousness/fear, or obedience issues (does not listen/lack of impulse control). These dogs might adjust to our routine and settle in nicely over a few visits, but will require extra work to become acclimated. FAILED: Major issues such as aggression or extreme fear. Daycare is not a healthy environment for these dogs and alternatives such as training can be discussed.
Additional Services: Stuffed, frozen Kongs Dog Walks while in Daycare One-on-One time Massage Fetch Treadmill Run Brush out (at end of daycare day)

Our boarding area is designed to be home away from home. After romping all day in daycare, your dog can go to bed in their personal sleeping area that’s complete with dim lighting and soft music (clinically proven to help relax canines). To make your dog feel at home we recommend bringing your dog’s favorite bed, toy and blanket. We also have blankets for use if you forget yours or just want to use our bedding.
For additional services, we offer kongs, one-on-one time, and daycare dog walks to make your dog's stay as comfortable and tiring as possible!
All boarding dogs must pass an evaluation prior to boarding at our facility to ensure that they can participate in daycare during the days that they are boarding [all boarding dogs must participate in daycare] ***If an Alpha Dog Staff Member suggests that your dog stays for daycare a couple days before the boarding stay, you must stay for daycare or your dog will not be allowed to board. Frequent Q&A's Where will my dog sleep at night? Your dog will be provided their own spacious kennel to sleep in at night that allows your dog to roam and move around.
What will my dog's schedule be like? Wake up at 7am for bathroom duty. At 8am everyone gets breakfast and an hour break to digest and relax. Then, it’s off to daycare where the dogs get lots of attention and spend the day with all of their best friends. At 6pm, its dinner time, relaxing and digesting. About an hour later, they have a bathroom break, short romp around, and then it’s lights out!
Will my dog be playing in daycare all day? Yes! Your dog will be playing all day, draining lots of energy so they will sleep at night.
Can I bring my dog's bed or crate? Absolutely! We ask that you bring any of the comforts from home here. If your dog feels comfortable in their crate, we say bring it!
Should I bring my dog's food? Yes, we highly recommend and ask that you do bring your dog's food. Changing your dog’s diet can cause upset stomach, diarrhea, or even vomiting. In the event that you forget your dog’s food we do have food we can provide.
Is your facility climate controlled? Yes, it is heated in the winter and there is A/C for the summer.
What will my dog do on Sundays when there isn’t daycare? They get to play all day and have the run of the place!
Can I bring my dog's toys? Yes, your dog can have toys, but only in their own personal kennel at night and during feeding breaks. We do not keep any hard plastic or raw hides in your dog’s kennel, but rubber toys are welcome!
Can I call and check in on my dog? You can check in as much as you like! *No refunds on any services*
